In Thursday's non-league game, the West Point Pointers (West Point, VA) football team edged the host Lancaster Red Devils (Lancaster, VA), by a tally of 18-14.

In their next game, the Pointers battle the Northampton Yellowjackets (Eastville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 26. West Point will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record.
