The Collins Hill Eagles football squad scored 27 points and limited the host Mill Creek Hawks to 20 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host North Gwinnett for a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. Collins Hill will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 28-14 non-league loss to Brookwood (Snellville, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.
The Hawks (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Peachtree Ridge (Suwanee, GA). The Lions enter the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Peachtree Ridge held off South Gwinnett (Snellville, GA), 26-22, in a non-league challenge.
