The Edina Hornets football squad scored 13 points and limited the visiting Eden Prairie Eagles to 6 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Hornets now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maple Grove for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 17.
With the defeat, Eden Prairie drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN) to clash with the Knights in a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. The Knights come into the test with a record of 0-1. St. Michael-Albertville lost 48-0 in their recent non-league test against Wayzata (Plymouth, MN)
