The Torrey Pines Falcons football squad scored 18 points and limited the visiting El Capitan Vaqueros to 14 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Falcons now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Steele Canyon for a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. Torrey Pines will play a Cougars team coming off a 7-6 non-league win over La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-2.

The Vaqueros (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against West Hills (Santee, CA). The Wolf Pack go into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, West Hills was edged by Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA), 28-0, in a non-league challenge.
