California High School Flag Football - King City nudges Aptos

September 11, 2025: Aptos, CA 95003

The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the King City Mustangs (King City, CA) and the host Aptos Mariners (Aptos, CA), witnessed King City's flag football squad edge Aptos by a count of 19-12.

The Mustangs (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Monterey (Monterey, CA). The Dores enter the contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Monterey got by Watsonville (Watsonville, CA), 7-6, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Mariners confront the Santa Clara Bruins (Santa Clara, CA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 16. Aptos will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Bruins go into the battle with a 2-5 record after their 18-14 non-league win over Independence (San Jose, CA).
