The Highland Park Giants got by the visiting Regina Dominican Panthers flag football team by a score of 19-12 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Giants play the Vernon Hills Cougars (Vernon Hills, IL) in a test, on Wednesday, September 17. Highland Park will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 4-5 record after their 46-25 non-league win over Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL).
With the defeat, Regina Dominican drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Evanston (Evanston, IL) to meet the Wildkits in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16. The Wildkits come into the test with a record of 7-1. Evanston won 19-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Whitney Young (Chicago, IL)
