In Thursday's non-league outing, the host New Fairfield Rebels soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Stratford Red Devils.
The Rebels (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Danbury (Danbury, CT). The Hatters go into the non-league outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Danbury McMahon (Norwalk, CT), 4-4, in a league test.
The Red Devils now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Newtown for a Southwest - Colonial test on Tuesday, September 16. Stratford will clash with a Nighthawks team coming off a 1-0 league win over Brookfield (Brookfield, CT). The Nighthawks record now stands at 3-1.
