The Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles soccer squad scored 10 points and held the host Riverside Warriors to 1 in the Flying Eagles league victory on Thursday.
The Flying Eagles now hold a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. Albans for a non-league game on Saturday, September 13. Woodrow Wilson will face a Red Dragons team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Buffalo (Buffalo, WV). The Red Dragons record now stands at 1-6.
The Warriors (1-8) will now prepare for their game against Capital (Charleston, WV). The Cougars enter the Mountain State game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Capital was overwhelmed by Sissonville (Charleston, WV), 2-1, in a non-league game.
