The Air Academy Kadets football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Widefield Gladiators to 6 in the Kadets non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Kadets now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Standley Lake for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Air Academy will face a Gators team coming off a 14-12 non-league win over Bear Creek (Lakewood, CO). The Gators record now stands at 1-2.

The Gladiators (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Sand Creek (Colorado Springs, CO). The Scorpions go into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Sand Creek toppled Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO), 56-6, in a non-league challenge.
