The Cathedral Phantoms got by the host Simi Valley Pioneers football team by a score of 41-35 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Phantoms play the Paraclete Spirits (Lancaster, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Cathedral will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record.
The Pioneers (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Thousand Oaks (Thousand Oaks, CA). The Lancers come into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Thousand Oaks tipped West Ranch (Valencia, CA), 55-8, in a non-league test.
