The Dixon Bulldogs football squad scored 40 points and limited the visiting Southwest Onslow Stallions to 32 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host West Carteret for a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. Dixon will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 22-14 non-league win over Croatan (Newport, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 1-3.

The Stallions (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against White Oak (Jacksonville, NC). The Vikings go into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, White Oak lost by Kinston (Kinston, NC), 28-6, in a non-league challenge.
