The James F. Byrnes Rebels football squad scored 49 points and limited the visiting Greer Yellow Jackets to 12 in the Rebels non-league win on Thursday.

In their next game, the Rebels face the Wade Hampton Generals (Greenville, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. James F. Byrnes will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Generals go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 27-20 non-league loss to Easley (Easley, SC).

The Yellow Jackets (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Berea (Greenville, SC). The Bulldogs come into the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Berea was overwhelmed by Southside (Greenville, SC), 52-22, in a non-league test.
