The Cardinals now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host East Duplin for a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. Jacksonville will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 28-14 non-league win over James Kenan (Warsaw, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Topsail moves to 2-2 on the season. The Pirates host Ashley (Wilmington, NC) to face the Screaming Eagle in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 18. The Screaming Eagle go into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Ashley won 27-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Fike (Wilson, NC)
