The Wake Forest Cougars overwhelmed the visiting Wakefield Wolverines football squad by a margin of 47-13 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Cougars now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hillside for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 18. Wake Forest will face a Hornets team coming off a 44-0 non-league win over Orange (Hillsborough, NC). The Hornets record now stands at 3-1.
The Wolverines (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC). The Pride enter the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Leesville Road triumphed over Heritage (Wake Forest, NC), 21-0, in a non-league test.
