With the triumph, South Iredell moves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 16. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 2-4.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the T.C. Roberson Rams (Asheville, NC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 16. Alexander Central will attempt to advance on its 0-8 season record. The Rams come into the test with a 4-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Watauga (Boone, NC).
