Cornwall Central Dragons (New Windsor, NY) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Rhinebeck Hawks (Rhinebeck, NY), 4-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Cornwall Central advances its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Valley Central (Montgomery, NY) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 0-2.
The Hawks now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Beacon for a non-league test on Monday, September 15. Rhinebeck will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Monroe-Woodbury (Central Valley, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-0.
