In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Von Steuben Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Alcott Wildcats.

The Panthers (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake View (Chicago, IL). The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Lake View beat Westinghouse (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Lincoln Park Lions (Chicago, IL) in a challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Alcott will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 2-0 league win over Chicago Academy (Chicago, IL).
