With the win, West Jessamine improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Colts host Nelson County (Bardstown, KY) to face the Cardinals in a non-league test on Monday, September 15. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Flyers now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Frankfort for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16. Franklin County will face a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Woodford County (Versailles, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 0-2.
