In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Monrovia Bulldogs volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the South Putnam Eagles.

With the win, Monrovia improves its record to 5-6 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Southmont (Crawfordsville, IN) to face the Mounties in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16. The Mounties go into the test with a record of 0-1. Southmont lost 2-1 in their recent league challenge against Cascade (Clayton, IN)

Next, the Eagles meet the Mooresville Christian Eagles (Mooresville, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. South Putnam will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Trinity Lutheran (Seymour, IN).
