In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Altamont Indians soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 win over the Wesclin Warriors.
The Indians (3-7) will now prepare for their outing against Effingham (Effingham, IL). The Hearts enter the non-league outing with a 7-1 record. In their last outing, Effingham tipped Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL), 3-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Warriors confront the Centralia Orphans (Centralia, IL) in a non-league outing, on Monday, September 15. Wesclin will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Orphans go into the outing with a 3-5 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Breese Central (Breese, IL).
