The Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls tipped the host Barnegat Bengals soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Garnet Gulls now hold a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Manchester Township for a non-league bout on Friday, September 12.
With the loss, Barnegat moves to 2-4 on the year. The Bengals host Pinelands Regional (Tuckerton, NJ) to play the Wildcats in a Shore B - South bout on Saturday, September 13. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 0-3.
