Illinois High School Soccer - Lincoln-Way East nudges Bloom

In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Lincoln-Way East Griffins soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Bloom Blazing Trojan.
The Griffins (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Glenbard North got by Glenbard East (Lombard, IL), 1-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Blazing Trojan confront the Fenwick Friars (Oak Park, IL) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 13. Bloom will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Friars come into the test with a 3-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL).
