In Thursday's non-league contest, the Chardon Hilltoppers (Chardon, OH) soccer team routed the host Edgewood Warriors (Ashtabula, OH), by a count of 6-1.
Next, the Hilltoppers battle the South Rebels (Willoughby, OH) in a Western Reserve contest, on Tuesday, September 16. Chardon will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Rebels enter the contest with a 4-3 record after their 0-0 non-league Firestone (Akron, OH).
The Warriors (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Geneva (Geneva, OH). The Eagles come into the Chagrin Valley - Lake match with a 5-6 record. In their last match, Geneva was overwhelmed by Hawken (Gates Mills, OH), 9-0, in a non-league match.
