The Duluth East Greyhounds (Duluth, MN) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Cloquet Lumberjacks (Cloquet, MN), 9-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Greyhounds now hold a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Shakopee for a non-league contest on Saturday, September 13. Duluth East will face a Sabers team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Eastview (Apple Valley, MN). The Sabers record now stands at 3-3.
The Lumberjacks (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Superior (Superior, WI). The Spartans enter the contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Superior beat Hermantown (Hermantown, MN), 4-0, in a league contest.
