Columbine Rebels (Littleton, CO) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Douglas County Huskies (Castle Rock, CO), 6-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Columbine advances its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to George Washington (Denver, CO) to face the Patriots in a non-league game on Monday, September 15. The Huskies (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Regis Jesuit (Aurora, CO). The Raiders come into the 5A/4A Continental game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Regis Jesuit edged Chaparral (Parker, CO), 6-0, in a league game.
