Corbin Redhounds (Corbin, KY) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Perry County Central Commodores (Hazard, KY), 8-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Corbin moves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Redhounds host Oneida Baptist Institute (Oneida, KY) to confront the Mountaineers in a District 49 outing on Monday, September 15. The Mountaineers go into the outing with a record of 8-2. Oneida Baptist Institute won 5-0 in their recent league test against South Laurel (London, KY)

The Commodores now have a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they host Morgan County for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. Perry County Central will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Wolfe County (Campton, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 2-5.
