The DeKalb Barbs tipped the host Harlem Huskies soccer squad by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Barbs now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Freeport for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 13. DeKalb will play a Pretzels squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Rochelle (Rochelle, IL). The Pretzels record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Harlem moves to 4-3 on the year. The Huskies travel to Guilford (Rockford, IL) to play the Vikings in a Northern Illinois NIC-10 bout on Tuesday, September 16. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 5-1.
