In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Mayfield Trojans soccer team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Deming Wildcats.

With the triumph, Mayfield advances its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Trojans host Manzano (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Monarchs in a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. The Monarchs come into the test with a record of 5-1.

The Wildcats now have a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gadsden for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16. Deming will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Silver (Silver City, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 6-2.
