In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Lakeland Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the South Lyon East Cougars.

The Eagles (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Milford (Highland, MI). The Mavericks go into the Kensington Lakes - North outing with a 4-1 record. In their last outing, Milford edged South Lyon (South Lyon, MI), 2-1, in a league test.

The Cougars now have a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Plymouth for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. South Lyon East will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Hartland (Hartland, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-6.
