With the triumph, Mayfield moves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Calloway County (Murray, KY) to clash with the Lakers in a District 2 test on Tuesday, September 16. The Lakers come into the test with a record of 7-4. Calloway County lost 4-2 in their recent non-league test against University Heights (Hopkinsville, KY)

The Lyons now sport a 1-10 record. They play next when they travel to Trigg County for a District 5 outing on Monday, September 15. Lyon County will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 5-1 league win over Lyon County (Eddyville, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-4.
