In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Takoma Academy Tigers soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the McKinley Tech Trainers.

The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Southern Maryland Christian Academy (White Plains, MD). The Mustangs enter the Maryland Independent Schools I test with a 0-0 record.

The Trainers now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coolidge for a DCIAA test on Monday, September 15. McKinley Tech will clash with a Colts team coming off a 4-1 league win over Cardozo (Washington, DC). The Colts record now stands at 1-0.
