The Middletown Islanders soccer squad scored 10 points and held the visiting Times Squared Academy Eagles to 1 in the Islanders league victory on Thursday.
The Islanders now hold a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Rogers for a Division 3 bout on Monday, September 15.
With the loss, Times Squared Academy moves to 0-2 on the year. The Eagles travel to Burrillville (Harrisville, RI) to encounter the Broncos in a Division 3 bout on Monday, September 15. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Burrillville won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Smithfield (Esmond, RI)
