The Moravian Academy Lions (Bethlehem, PA) soccer nipped the visiting Palisades Pirates (Kintnersville, PA), 5-4 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Lions now hold a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Blue Mountain for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 13. Moravian Academy will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Tulpehocken (Bernville, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Palisades moves to 5-2 on the year. The Pirates host Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA) to encounter the Tigers in a Colonial challenge on Monday, September 15. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 7-1. Northwestern Lehigh won 3-2 in their recent league challenge against Southern Lehigh (Center Valley, PA)
