The South Knox Spartans soccer squad scored 7 points and held the visiting Shoals Jug Rox to 0 in the Spartans league victory on Thursday.
The Spartans now hold a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Bloomfield for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 13. South Knox will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 9-0 league loss to White River Valley (Switz City, IN). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-6.
With the loss, Shoals moves to 1-7 on the year. The Jug rox travel to Mitchell (Mitchell, IN) to play the Bluejackets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 16. The Bluejackets enter the game with a record of 0-9. Mitchell lost 6-0 in their recent non-league game against Lighthouse Christian Academy (Bloomington, IN)
