The Southwestern Warriors overwhelmed the visiting Whitley County Colonels soccer squad by a margin of 6-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Warriors now hold a 2-4 record. They play next when they host North Laurel for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 15.
With the loss, Whitley County moves to 7-4 on the year. The Colonels host Barbourville (Barbourville, KY) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 12. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 0-5. Barbourville lost 8-1 in their recent league contest against Middlesboro (Middlesboro, KY)
