Nebraska High School Softball - Aurora defeated by Crete

The Aurora Huskies softball team (Aurora, NE), was routed 14-6 in Thursday's league bout with the visiting Crete Cardinals (Crete, NE)

The Cardinals (12-2) will now prepare for their bout against York (York, NE). The Dukes go into the B District 7 contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, York thwarted Boone Central (Albion, NE), 13-0, in a non-league contest.

The Huskies now hold a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Adams Central for a non-league bout on Monday, September 15. Aurora will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 14-1 non-league loss to Twin River (Genoa, NE). The Patriots record now stands at 5-8.
