Nebraska High School Softball - Malcolm defeated by Central City

The Malcolm Clippers softball squad (Malcolm, NE), was routed 10-1 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting Central City Bison (Central City, NE)

With the triumph, Central City improves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Bison host O'Neill (O'Neill, NE) to battle the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, September 15. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 8-7. O'Neill lost 8-1 in their recent non-league contest against Centura (Cairo, NE)

The Clippers now hold a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Southern/Diller-Odell for a non-league contest on Saturday, September 13. Malcolm will face a squad coming off a 13-5 non-league loss to Auburn (Auburn, NE). The record now stands at 5-6.
