The Durant Lions softball team scored 12 runs and held the host Comanche Indians to 9 in the Lions non-league win on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coweta for a non-league battle on Monday, September 15. Durant will confront a Tigers team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Tahlequah (Tahlequah, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 10-12.

With the loss, Comanche moves to 7-13 on the season. The Indians travel to Ada (Ada, OK) to confront the Cougars in a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. The Cougars come into the battle with a record of 7-8. Ada won 10-2 in their recent non-league battle against McAlester (McAlester, OK)
