The Elkhorn South Storm triumphed over the visiting Omaha South Packers softball squad by a count of 9-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Storm meet the Westview Wolverines (Omaha, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Elkhorn South will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 4-3 league win over Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE).
The Packers (7-7) will now prepare for their battle against Buena Vista (Omaha, NE). The Bison come into the non-league battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Buena Vista was routed by Omaha South (Omaha, NE), 6-0, in a league battle.
