The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Inola Longhorns (Inola, OK) and the visiting Mounds Golden Eagles (Mounds, OK), observed Inola's softball team notch a victory over Mounds by a tally of 12-0.

The Longhorns (9-9) will now prepare for their bout against Davenport (Davenport, OK). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 16-4 record. In their last bout, Davenport gained a win over Kellyville (Kellyville, OK), 5-4, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles battle the Pawnee Black Bears (Pawnee, OK) in a 2A bout, on Monday, September 15. Mounds will attempt to advance on its 7-11 season record. The Black Bears go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Shidler (Shidler, OK).
