The Lawson Cardinals softball team scored 9 runs and held the host Plattsburg Tigers to 4 in the Cardinals league win on Thursday.

The Cardinals now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carrollton for a non-league battle on Monday, September 15. Lawson will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Knob Noster (Knob Noster, MO). The Trojans record now stands at 7-0.

The Tigers (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against South Harrison (Bethany, MO). The Bulldogs go into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, South Harrison held off Gallatin (Gallatin, MO), 8-6, in a non-league challenge.
