With the triumph, Lone Grove improves its record to 21-3 on the year. The Longhorns host Sulphur (Sulphur, OK) to face the Bulldogs in a 4A District 1 contest on Monday, September 15. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a record of 10-9. Sulphur lost 4-2 in their recent non-league contest against Enid (Enid, OK)

In their next game, the Dragons clash with the Dibble Demons (Dibble, OK) in a non-league bout, on Monday, September 15. Purcell will attempt to advance on its 6-14 season record.
