In Thursday's non-league match, the host Macomb Hornets softball team scored a nice 14-2 victory over the Wewoka Tigers.

The Hornets (14-7) will now prepare for their match against Strother (Seminole, OK). The Yellowjackets go into the Class A match with a 5-7 record. In their last match, Strother was routed by Moss (Holdenville, OK), 9-8, in a non-league game.

The Tigers now hold a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Latta for a 2A game on Monday, September 15.
