St. Teresa's Academy Stars (Kansas City, MO) supporters exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their softball team run past the visiting Raytown South Cardinals (Raytown, MO), 16-0 in a non-league match.

The Stars (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Summit Christian Academy (Lee's Summit, MO). The Eagles come into the non-league match with a 3-2 record.

In their next game, the Cardinals play the North Kansas City Hornets (North Kansas City, MO) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 15. Raytown South will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 1-4 record after their 11-3 non-league loss to Winnetonka (Kansas City, MO).
