The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Whitefield Academy WolfPack (Mableton, GA) and the host St. Francis Knights (Alpharetta, GA), observed Whitefield Academy's softball team get by St. Francis by a final score of 13-10.

The WolfPack (7-5) will now prepare for their bout against Walker (Marietta, GA). The Wolverines go into the 1A D-I Region 5 bout with a 4-6 record. In their last bout, Walker tipped Landmark Christian (Fairburn, GA), 14-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 5 bout, on Monday, September 15. St. Francis will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 14-0 record after their 12-3 non-league win over Westminster (Atlanta, GA).
