The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Strother Yellowjackets (Seminole, OK) and the visiting Weleetka Outlaws (Weleetka, OK), observed Strother's softball team get by Weleetka by a tally of 4-3.

The Yellowjackets (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Macomb (Macomb, OK). The Hornets enter the Class A contest with a 14-7 record. In their last contest, Macomb nudged Wewoka (Wewoka, OK), 14-2, in a non-league contest.

The Outlaws now hold a 11-8 record. They play next when they host Wewoka for a non-league contest on Friday, September 12. Weleetka will face a Tigers squad coming off a 14-2 non-league loss to Macomb (Macomb, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 2-7.
