The Academy of Holy Angels Stars volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Woodbury Royals to 1 in the Stars non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Stars now possess a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Minneapolis Southwest for a non-league game on Friday, September 12. Academy of Holy Angels will confront a Lakers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Edison (Minneapolis, MN). The Lakers record now stands at 2-2.
The Royals (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Irondale (New Brighton, MN). The Knights enter the Suburban East game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Irondale gained a win over St. Paul Central (St. Paul, MN), 3-1, in a non-league game.
