Banneker Bulldogs (Washington, DC) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Anacostia Indians (Washington, DC), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, Banneker advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Ballou (Washington, DC) to face the Knights in a DCIAA test on Tuesday, September 16. The Knights go into the test with a record of 1-3. Ballou lost 2-0 in their recent league test against MacArthur (Washington, DC)

The Indians now sport a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bell for a DCIAA challenge on Tuesday, September 16. Anacostia will play a Griffins team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC). The Griffins record now stands at 1-4.
