The Atkins Red Devils volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Clinton Yellowjackets to 1 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Red Devils now have a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Episcopal for a non-league outing on Monday, September 15. Atkins will play a Wildcats team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Bauxite (Bauxite, AR). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-0.

The Yellowjackets (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Pottsville (Pottsville, AR). The Apaches go into the 4A 2 game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Pottsville went down by Paris (Paris, AR), 4-1, in a non-league game.
