New York High School Volleyball - Averill Park overwhelmed by Bethlehem Central

Bethlehem Central Eagles (Delmar, NY) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Averill Park Golden Knights (Averill Park, NY), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Eagles (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Schenectady (Schenectady, NY). The Patriots come into the Section 2 Suburban - Grey challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Schenectady lost by Niskayuna (Niskayuna, NY), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Golden Knights play the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans (Burnt Hills, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban - Grey challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Averill Park will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Spartans go into the test with a 9-0 record after their 3-2 league win over Columbia (East Greenbush, NY).
